New SCIO for Glenbuchat Hall
We intend to transfer ownership of the Hall, Bothy and land from the outdated trust into the new SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation), which has an approved constitution, appropriate membership, trustees and decision making powers, to enable the Hall and buildings to be managed responsibly for the benefit of local people. It will be able to better fulfil its charitable purposes.
Membership is free and open to any individual aged 16 or over who resides either full or part time in Glenbuchat, or who owns property within Glenbuchat, being defined as the valley of the river Buchat, and its tributaries.
If you wish to become a member, then please fill out the form below as we are required to keep a register of members.
You can withdraw from membership at any time if you give written notice, either on paper or by email.
We are also asking you if you give consent for your email address to be added to the Glenbuchat Hall Mailing List. If you sign up for the mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time.
The small print with regard to holding your personal data
The hall trustees are working within the requirements of GDPR to protect your personal details. Information that we hold is used solely for our administration purposes.
Should you feel that the Trustees have failed in some aspect of GDPR and the processing of your details please inform us so that we may investigate and correct our systems, should they require it.

You may request details of information that we hold about you. If you wish to do so please write to, or email us with this request. If you believe any of the information we hold to be inaccurate or incomplete please contact us and we will investigate and correct any inaccuracies.
Disclosing Your Data
We will not make your personal data available to outside organisations unless required to do so by law, e.g. if a court or other UK law enforcement agency has asked for it, or if it is required by our insurers.
How your data is protected
We take the protection of your data seriously and have security measures in place to keep it safe.
We restrict access of this to a very small number of highly trusted persons who need to access it to perform their duties.
