  • Zoom Safeguarding Training

    These Training Meetings will last at least 2 hours, with full attendance required. Online sessions will have limited capacity, on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity for in-person sessions will vary by venue.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, there are no planned training sessions. As soon as these sessions are up and running, the Designated Persons and Ministers will be informed.

  • All of the Zoom sessions before Christmas 2022 are now full.

    If that does not suit, please note that sessions for 2023 will be posted here soon, at which point you will be able to book in.

  • Attendance at training is mandatory every three years within the Methodist Church in Ireland.  

    Your church will be informed of your attendance at training.  Please enter details so that this can be faciltated.  

  • Vetting Checks

    Within Irish Methodism, every leader now needs to be re-vetted by the Methodist Church in Ireland at least once every three years, regardless of having been checked through other organisations.
  • Please contact your Designated Person or Minister as soon as possible to request a vetting pack.  You are welcome to attend this training, but having a valid vetting check in place is a legal requirement.  

  • Once your submission has been received, it will be processed.  
    You will receive an email containing log-in details for Zoom in the days leading up to the session.  
    The sessions will open approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.  

  • Once your submission has been received, you will automatically be booked in to your chosen 'in-person' training session.  You will also receive an email giving details of the session.
