Sierra College Veterans Success Center Certification

Before processing your benefit, we need a Certificate of Eligibility, a DD-214 (if you have one), and a VA Education Plan written by one of our counselors on file. If you have not started the intake process or are unsure, do not fill out this form. Instead, email us at veterans@sierracollege.edu and we will help you start using your benefit. Use this form to certify your classes for every semester you wish to use your benefit.

If I am paying out of state tuition, I have contacted Admissions and Records to get my residency fixed and understand that it is my responsibility to cover any out-of-state tuition fees.*

The amount will be a prorated amount of any Basic Allowance for Housing and tuition I have received. If I earn an F in a class, I will NOT owe the VA.*

I understand that there is an effective unit minimum in order to receive monthly payments. For Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33), 7 units for Fall/Spring, 3 units Summer. For Survivors and Dependents Assistance (Chapter 35), 6 units for Fall/Spring, 3 units Summer. If I drop below this amount, I will no longer be eligible for the housing stipend, and will owe a prorated amount back to the VA.*
