Dimensions is the Saskatchewan Craft Council’s biennial, open, juried, touring exhibition which encourages and rewards excellence in hand-crafted work. Every two years all Saskatchewan craftspeople are eligible to submit up to two hand-crafted items. Two experienced jurors are tasked with selecting the pieces for the exhibition, as well as deciding which pieces merit the many available awards.
Dimensions 2021 Online is open to all craftspeople and artists
living and working in Saskatchewan.
Entries are only accepted by completing this online submission form and (if applicable) paying entry fees.
Dimensions 2021 Online Jurying

NUMBER OF ENTRIES + ENTRY FEE
Artists are limited to a maximum of 2 works. There is a $40.00 (CAD) non-refundable fee for each entry.
of the Saskatchewan Craft Council in good standing at the time of entry may enter up to 2 works for free.
Artists may apply to become a member in lieu of paying the entry fee(s). Select "I want to become a member" on this form - SCC staff will then assist you with an application for membership.
Non-members who do not want to become members will be emailed an invoice for the appropriate entry amount following submission.

Craftspeople/artists can enter collaborative works – all collaborators must be listed at the time of application. Collaborative works count as one entry for each artist, but only require one entry fee paid per entry. In order to enter with no fee, all collaborators must be members of the Saskatchewan Craft Council in good standing. If a collaboration work is selected for exhibition, 1 artist royalty is to be shared between collaborators.
Submissions are restricted to a weight limit of no more than 75 pounds. The Saskatchewan Craft Council reserves the right to exclude any entry that presents significantly complex installation or would not reasonably and safely ship in a national tour. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Works accepted for exhibition must be ready to install, prepared with instructions for installation or suitably framed. Two-dimensional work must be framed and have hanging hardware (e.g. picture wire) installed.
Minimum 3 images, maximum 10 images.
Please include at least one of the following for each entry:
- how a viewer would look at the piece or approach it in a gallery
- show the jurors something you are proud of - seams, textures, details...
- show the jurors the back or the bottom of your entry - whichever area shows your finishing work appropriately. E.g., a quilter may photograph the back of their piece; a ceramic artist may show the bottom of a finished pot.
Follow this link to an informative PDF which lists our full image requirements and helpful suggestions for photographing at home.
All works will be subject to the jurying process and are solely accepted based on the electronic submission. Dimensions 2021 Online is a “blind jury” – this means that jurors will be viewing the works on images alone, and will not be aware of the name or artistic history of the person who made the work.
The Saskatchewan Craft Council reserves the right to use digital images of submitted work for any activity related to Dimensions programming
Please refrain from posting about your entry on social media until after jurying is finalized.
