Pickleball is something of a mix between tennis, racquetball and ping pong. Players use special paddles and a wiffle ball, and games take place on tennis courts with specific pickleball lines. Nets and court sizes are smaller than their tennis counterparts, and it has its own set of quirky rules — for instance, try to stay out of the “kitchen”— but they’re easy to learn.
Limited to Lakeshore members at least 13 years or older, you must register for a session at least 24 hours in advance.
Pickleball will be held on Saturdays from January 23 to March 27. Times/Dates may change due to athletic events or USOPC Training Site activities.
