Welcome to the CyberCage Amateur Valorant Tournament Season 3!
Please read the rules before fully registering your team for the tournament!
GENERAL RULES

• FIVE VERSUS FIVE
Teams must consist of at least 5 players. Maximum of 1 stand-in per team with only 1 roster change per match allowed.
Each team will designate one (1) team representative.
• NO TEAM HOPPING
Players are only allowed to register with 1 team. Players caught joining/registering multiple teams will disqualify the player involved. Teams registering multiple times with different names will be disqualified.
TOURNAMENT RULES

• Tournament will comprise of a maximum of 64 teams and will be randomly distributed regardless of rank and skill levels.
Elimination Rounds - Best of 1
Semi Finals - Best of 3
Grand Finals - Best of 5
• SEEDING
Teams will be organized randomly via the system (Challonge.com)
Bye's will be set in place in case of odd-numbered total registration
• TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY
On the event of a technical difficulty (internet loss, power outage, etc), teams will be given a maximum of one 5 minute technical pause (PER TEAM, PER MAP) for the affected player to reconnect to the match. Failure to reconnect within the time frame will result in resumption of match. During that time, the affected player may reconnect however no additional pauses will be granted to the team affected.
• TACTICAL PAUSE
Teams are encouraged to use the in-game Tactical Pause feature.
-Two (2) Tactical pause per team
-60 Second duration
-Team who initiated pause may unpause before 60 seconds
-Requesting for additional pauses will not be allowed
• REGARDING DISQUALIFICATIONS
-In the event of a player disqualification during a game, with an available stand-in, match will be restarted to current round -1 with the stand-in.
-In the event of a player disqualification, without an available stand-in, team representative will be given a choice to proceed or concede with the match.
-In the event of a team disqualification, opponent team will advance with a technical win.
• RIGHT TO REFUSE BROADCAST
Players and participants agree that the tournament will feature their likeness on stream. They cannot refuse nor choose which manner the match will be broadcasted.
• PRIZES AND DISTRIBUTION
All prizes will be distributed once tournament has concluded. Prizes will be distributed to the Team Representative via Globe GCash. Players will be contacted by tournament organizer within 24-48 hours of tournament conclusion.

• MATCH PROPER
Qualifier / Elimination Rounds:
-Brackets will be posted 30mins before the start of the tournament proper.
-Before match start, map picks will be determined via coinflip.
For Semi-Finals (BO3):
-Map veto will be facilitated using Mapban.GG
-Coin flip will then be used to determine the following, in this sequence:
1. Server use (HK/SG)
2. Map sequence
For Grand Finals (BO5):
-Map veto will be facilitated using Mapban.GG
-Coin flip will then be used to determine the following, in this sequence:
1. Server use (HK/SG)
2. Map sequence
On match win, teams must post the screenshot of the results in the CyberCage Discord server channel #season3-results-day1
Team leaders must post a screenshot of the games to proceed to the next stage.
• LOBBY AND VERIFICATION
For Qualifier / Elimination Rounds:
Teams must fill the in-game lobby within the 15 grace period. Either team may create their own lobbies and invite the other team on the minute the tournament starts. Only registered players may participate in the game. Only 5 players per team should be in the lobby. There should be no observers in the game lobby other than the 5 selected players of each team.
For Quarter Finals to G.Finals:
Each team will be required to enter a discord lobby before the match for verification of identity. Voice modulators or video filters are required to be removed. Failure to comply with the verification process will merit the team a disqualification.
• INVITES
Only team representatives will receive the initial invite to the Discord Server. Team representatives will then invite other members to the lobby. If a player does not sit in the lobby within a given time frame, the team will be awarded a technical loss.
• ATTENDANCE
Teams will be given a maximum of 15* minutes to enter the in-game lobby. Failure to enter the lobby will merit the team a technical loss.
For Round of 64 up to Quarter Finals/Battle for 3rd: Team representatives must report non-attendance of opposing team only after the 15 minutes grace period in the Cyber Cage discord channel #season3-matches
Only players registered may enter and play in the tournament lobbies. Violators will be kicked from the lobby. Teams violating this rule will be given a warning and be required to play with the registered team member.
Team representatives must report any player name discrepancy to the Cyber Cage discord channel #season3-matches
For Semi-finals and Grand Final:
Team attendance will be facilitated by Cyber Cage Officials. Only players registered may enter and play in the lobby. Only Cyber Cage officials and broadcasters may fill in the observer slots. No other players are allowed in the lobbies.
Teams caught violating will be given a first & final warning, and will be required to play with the registered roster. Failure to play with the registered roster will result in a technical loss.
• CHEATING/ABUSE
No player will exploit bugs or glitches currently present in the game. No player will make use of 3rd party programs in order to gain a significant advantage over their opponent. Any player caught cheating or exploiting bugs or glitches will be disqualified. In the event of a disqualification, the registered stand-in will be accepted. If the disqualification occurs during a match, a restart will be required.
• PLAYER CONDUCT
Every participant is to behave with respect towards the representatives of the CyberCage Tournament, viewers, partners and other players. The participants are requested to represent esports, the CyberCage Tournament, and their Sponsors honorably. This applies to behavior in-game and also in chats, messengers, comments and other media.
We expect players to conduct themselves according to the following values:
-Compassion: treat others as you would be treated.
-Integrity: be honest, be committed, play fair.
-Respect: show respect all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.
-Courage: be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.
Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion.
-Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).
-Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.
-Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”).
-Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes, unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.
-Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Any form of know disrespect or bad manners is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Tea Bagging
-Rage Quitting
-Chat Spamming
-Game Throwing
-Team Killing
-Intentional AFK
-Intentional delaying of games
-Verbal Attacks to teammates, competitors, event staff and viewers
Any violation of the above stated will be dealt with accordingly. For reports, please provide screenshots / video and post to #season3-matches
• REGISTRATION FEES
A registration fee of PHP200 GCASH will be required to enter the CyberCage Tournament. 100% of all registration fees will go directly to the total prize pot (Initial pot: PHP5000 + PHP xxxx)
