Fall Product Caregiver Permission & Financial Responsibility Agreement

Welcome to the 2024 Fall Product Program!

 

Caregivers must review and agree to all information below in order for girls to participate in GSCCC product programs.

 

Please have your Troop Fall Product Coordinator's email available when completing the agreement; it is a required field on the form. By entering their email he/she will receive notification you have completed this agreement.

 

Girl Scout Eligibility

• Girls must be registered for the 2024-2025 Girl Scout membership year
• Girls that are part of multiple households must have a caregiver in each home submit an agreement. Each household will share the same Digital Cookie account but handles its own product and money to protect both parties from incurring each other’s program debt.
• Participants must be in good standing with Girl Scouts of Colonial Coast.

 

Proceeds and Rewards

• Girls earn rewards, troops earn proceeds. Troop proceeds are troop funds.
• Proceeds may only be allocated to Girl Scout troops/groups for Girl Scout program activities. Cash-based accounts may not be kept for or distributed to individual girls. All rewards earned by girls through product activities must support Girl Scout program experiences (such as camp, travel, and program events; but not scholarships or financial credits toward outside organizations).
• All rewards and events are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• Council reserves the right to substitute a reward for an equal or lesser value.

Social Media and Online Marketing

• Sales links should never be posted to online resale sites (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Swap, Virtual Yard Sales, Amazon, etc.).
• Social media ads are not be purchased or donated to promote sales links.
• GSUSA and GSCCC reserve the right to remove or disable the link for any reason including violation of guidance, inventory fulfillment issues, safety issues, or if sales and marketing activity goes viral and otherwise creates unanticipated disruption.
• Group sites (military, neighborhood, etc.) are allowed—provided the post is not on listed on the resale portion of the site.

As a caregiver of a registered Girl Scout, I acknowledge and/or agree to the following:

• I will adhere to the program start dates listed in the Caregiver Guide and will follow all safety guidelines.
• I will provide my Girl Scout with supervision and guidance throughout the program and assist her in making prompt delivery of product to her customers.
• I will ensure that payment is not collected until product is delivered.
• I will abide by all deadlines and guidelines set forth by the troop leader/troop cookie coordinator as well as those in the Council Family Guide.
• I agree to be responsible for all product received and all money collected.
• I understand that product may not be returned and that I am financially responsible for all product received on behalf of my Girl Scout.
• I will always get a signed receipt for product picked up from the troop leader and/or troop cookie coordinator.
• I will always get a signed receipt for all money turned into the troop leader and/or troop cookie coordinator. Note: This is your proof of payment should there be a dispute.
• I will not hold large amounts of money. If lost or stolen, I understand I am financially responsible for replacing the funds.
• I understand that should I write a check, I agree that my account will be debited electronically for the face amount and any return check fees if it is returned unpaid.
• I acknowledge that I am aware that I will receive only one letter from Council for any unresolved account. If my account is not settled after 10 working days, it will be turned over to collections or law enforcement. All fees charged in conjunction with this process will be my responsibility including, but not limited to, attorney fees, court cost and collection fees.

I have read and fully understood the guidelines and information listed here. I also understand my girl’s participation in future product programs will be limited if I am delinquent with product program payments. By signing below, I give my Girl Scout permission to participate in the 2024 Fall Product Program.
