CAARS Animal Adoption Fees

(As Discussed with your CAARS representative included in your adoption fees is spay/neuter, dewormer, rabies, fel leukemia, (1 set of vaccines unless vaccines have expired prior to being care )microchip and 6 weeks complimentary pet insurance with pet secure)

Dog Adoption fees*

$525 for puppies (under 1 year)

$475 for adults

$300 for seniors (over 6 years old)

Included in these fees will be the surgery spay/neuter, at least 1 set of vaccines, microchip and 6 weeks of pet insurance.

This agreement constitutes a contract for the adoption of the animal described between CAARS and

• These terms and conditions are entered into and agreed upon by both CAARS and the Adopter and they acknowledge the moral and legal worth of this contract. I (Adopter), agree to all of the terms of this contract and understand that non-compliance with the terms of this agreement gives CAARS the right to reclaim the animal.

I understand that this adoption contract will be used in conjunction with my adoption application as one binding agreement. This includes all terms and information that I have supplied on the adoption application.*

I acknowledge that CAARS has provided me with the medical notes and a behaviour bio for the animal I am interested in adopting. I have read and understand both medical and behaviour notes and if desired, I have had the notes reviewed by my own vet prior to finalizing the adoption agreement.*

CAARS cannot guarantee the size, health, or temperament of the animal. CAARS assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages caused by the adopted animal to property, person(s) or other pets. If any medical problems should occur after adoption, CAARS is not liable for any medical bills. As Adopter, I agree to accept full responsibility for the care of this animal, releasing CAARS and its representatives of any liability from this date forward

I understand that my CAARS animal may require additional vaccination(s) or deworming treatment(s) after adoption. Any follow up vaccinations/deworming needed is the responsibility of the adopter to complete for their adopted CAARS animal

Welcoming an animal into your home is a huge commitment. Please keep in mind that any change, even a positive one such as moving to a new home, is stressful for animals. It can take an animal days and even weeks to fully settle into their new home. During this period of time it will be important for families to be patient, understanding and willing to work with their newly adopted animal while this transition into their new life and home is taking place. Please select you acknowledge and are willing to allow the transition period of at least 2 weeks.

I agree that I will NOT declaw, ear crop or tail dock any animal that I adopt from CAARS. If done, CAARS holds the right to remove the animal from your home and any adoption contract will become null and void. No refund will be given

I understand that, in accordance with animal control bylaws within my city or town all dogs and cats must be licensed. To order a license for your newly adopted animal please contact your local authority

Returns are at the sole discretion of our foster manager(s) and placement of a returned animal(s) may take a couple weeks to accommodate dependent on space and the individual needs of a returning animal. Please Acknowledge you've read this and agree.

All returns must be preapproved and only then will a surrender time and location be disclosed to the individual relinquishing their animal back into CAARS care.

All CAARS adoption fees and deposit are non-refundable. Please acknowledge and accept.

Any personal information collected is only used by Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society for the purpose defined at the time of the collection or a use that complies with these purposes. We do not share your information with any third parties.

I have completed the adoption application and agreement honestly and understand that if an omission or untruth is discovered after the adoption, that CAARS has the right to reclaim the animal.
