    • Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Yorkie and Morkie Boutique, but it does not guarantee a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

Application Process: Applications will be reviewed within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your application is a good fit, you will be notified by email and the breeder will request time to talk.

Waitlist Process:  By completing the application you are automatically registered and placed on the waitlist.  Please understand that there is no guarantee and only allows you to receive updates about upcoming litters.  At the time in which a pregnancy is being planned, if you are selected according to your waitlist status, you will receive an email and a phone call to opt into the upcoming litter(s) and move to the reservation list and pay the $250 reservation fee. The breeder will attempt to reach you with the contact information in your application so be sure to make sure it’s all accurate and up to date.

Reservation List Process:  By completing the application, you have the ability to bypass the waitlist and if qualified and pending space availability, you may join the reservation list.  By joining the reservation list, you are guaranteed to select a puppy within 2-3 litters (pending gender and selection choices).  The $250 non-refundable reservation fee is required at the start of the pregnancy month to secure your spot and selection in this or an upcoming litter. You understand that by being on the reservation list does not guarantee a puppy from the upcoming due litter or selection number, nor guarantee gender of choice or color of choice as we have no control over litter size, gender or colors.

Reservation List Order: Breeder and Buyer agree that the Breeder reserves the right to select the order of pick and determine the timing of the selection. The Buyer can choose any of the puppies available to them at their selection time and placement. The Buyer must be available at the time of selection and placement to make their selection. If the Buyer is not in attendance nor reachable by phone, text or email, after two attempts by the Breeder, the Buyer will forfeit their placement and will not receive a refund of their Reservation Fee. The Breeder reserves the right to reserve any puppy from any litter, for any reason, prior to Buyer selections taking place.

Non-Refundable Reservation Fee: Buyer acknowledges that the Reservation Fee is non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to if Buyer decides s/he does not want or is no longer able to take a puppy. Only in the event that the Breeder does not produce the choice of gender and/or color in three consecutive litters will the Buyer receive a full refund. Buyer acknowledges that there is no guarantee of puppy of choice or gender in any specific litter. The Buyer understands that they can continue to defer their place in line and add themselves to future reservation lists until they get the puppy they desire up through three consecutive litters. Upon receipt of the Reservation Fee, Breeder agrees to involve the Buyer in all communications, videos and preparation for the upcoming three consecutive litters or until the Buyer has selected a puppy.

Non-Refundable Deposit:  Once the litter is birthed, which you will be a part of, you will be informed of your selection spot. Once selected for this litter, a deposit is required to hold the puppy for you. You will receive the ability to come to the home, visit, and make a decision to be a part of the current litter. The deposit is required for us to hold your selection in the current litter. If you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter. This deposit is non-refundable unless your puppy of selection is not healthy, dies, or circumstances deem that the puppy should not be released. (please see our contracts and agreements on our website)

Pick of your Puppy: Puppies will be selected in reservation order. Meaning, if you are number one on the list and make a selection and deposit, that puppy will be held specifically for you. We ask that you make a selection at the time of "pick date" since there may be other families waiting for a chance to choose. Should you elect to not take a puppy from this litter, you reserve the right to "roll your deposit" to the following planned litter.

Going Home: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination which cannot be done until 3 months of age. If circumstances are such that you require assistance with boarding until you are ready to receive your puppy, we can offer that assistance for $50 per day.

Contract: We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms after review, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

Take-Back Policy We have a take-back provision in our contract. Any puppy from our home always has a home here, and will never experience the fear and burden of life at a shelter. We take a cradle-to-grave "original home" responsibility for the puppies we created. If ever you are unable to care for one of our puppies or dogs, please contact us immediately.

Spay/Neuter: We require spay/neuter of our puppies.  We will provide you the necessary information on the best time to conduct this procedure.  We do not sell to other breeders or for breeding purposes.

Registration Papers: Our puppies are excellent family companions and do not always come with registration papers to specific registries.  Most of our purebred puppies are APRI, CKC and/or AKC registered.  You are free to register your dog with the CKC under single registration status should you desire.

Feeding: We allow our pups to nurse on mommy as long as they both deserve. We then transition the puppies to human-grade healthy food. This is a well balanced meal with supplements and vitamins included. We would hope that this diet will continue in your home as this is the healthiest diet (food) out there and will provide you added years of health and happiness. If you are planning on switching to a kibble dog food diet or homecooked diet, please let us know in advance so we can help you with "the switch" and not to get upset tummies!

Vaccines: We do not provide the initial puppy immunizations at a young age.  Due to tragic and unforeseen circumstances of severe adverse vaccine reactions in a previous litter, which led to their death, we have made a decision to not administer vaccines before 12 weeks of age. We have an Integrative Vet protocol that we suggest for vaccinating your puppy. We believe that decision to vaccinate, how and when, should be made by the future parents. We will provide you all the education leading up to taking your puppy home at 8 weeks old, you will then hold the decision regarding immunizations. As always, we firmly believe in education and understanding the advantages and disadvantages. We do not advocate for all immunizations and after certain ages. We will provide our parents all the information required to make the best decision for their puppy. We work closely with our vet before puppies go home to assure a clean bill of health, free from worms, parasites or any other illnesses! You will be provided clean bill of health records at pick-up.

Docking Tails and Dew Claws:  We do not believe in docking tails or dew claw removal.  Our puppies all come with tails and claws.  If you should want to remove their dew claws in the future, you may do so at their spay/neuter appointment.  Be sure to discuss this with the Breeder should you have further questions.

If you are applying for one of our mentor litters the rules and policies are subject to change.  The application is to gather your information only and the details of the available puppies will be shared with you at time of acceptance.
