Props: Any article brought on stage must be NEEDED. Non-functional props which distract from the live performance are not permitted. Keep in mind there is little to no storage at the state venue.
- No mood setters or background enhancers
- No Floor mats
- No prop that imitate those used in Broadway or screen version of the selected talent
- No props that require excessively large stage areas and/or complicated set up
- Props that are over 25 lbs will not be accepted not be allowed
- No use of motion picture, slides, or projection of any kind
- No live animals
- No props involving safety hazards, such as any form of fire, swords, knives, bow and arrows, etc.
- No lighting enhancements
- Props used must be listed on this document on or before March 28. Production has final say if props can be used.
Props require MMSO approval and are not permitted unless functional! Any props need to arrive at competition venue on check in day to Miss Minnesota, and removed immediately at conclusion of Miss Minnesota week. You must make arrangements to deliver and pick up your props. Miss Minnesota will not be responsible for the props getting to and from the competition venue.
