The Pattern of a Powerful Church

1.     A powerful church is motivated by a      of the Lord. (5:5, 11)

2.     A powerful church has a Holy Spirit power impacting the      seeing people spiritually healed & saved. (12-16)

3.     A powerful church will inevitably provoke a      reaction from the satanic world system. (2 Tm 3:12, 1 Pt 2:20)

• The world will not want to      with us. (12b)
• The world will be      of us. (17)
• The world may throw us in      & beat us. (18, 40)
• The world may want to      us. (33)

4.     A powerful church continues to      the Gospel of Jesus no matter what the cost. (1 Thess 1:8, 2 Cor 5:16-21)

• A powerful church will be bold &      in sharing the Gospel (21, 25, 27-28, 42).
• A powerful church will obey God rather than      authorities. (27-29)
• A powerful church may have God’s      to help us in the mission. (19-26)
• A powerful church is clear about the      : 1) Sinners are confronted, 2) Jesus is exalted, & 3) Forgiveness & the gift of the Holy Spirit is offered to those who repent. (v. 30-32)
• A powerful church may not have everyone respond      . (v. 33-42)
