This program reviews the design and implementation of efforts to assess COVID-19 educational conduct sanctions. These sanctions were created to facilitate students’ learning, decision-making, and self-awareness following violations of COVID-19 compliance policies. We will discuss the process of mapping sanctions to our office’s learning goals in order to formulate meaningful sanction prompts and give concrete, assessable outcomes. Results from the assessments and the improvements they inform will be shared and discussed as well as how participants can use this information to assess and improve their student conduct processes. We hope this session will emphasize the importance of assessment efforts in student conduct programs, both during and after a global pandemic.
