It is our practice to call your recipient's home, office, or place of delivery to confirm that your chosen delivery date is a date that works for them. This happily allows us to verify directly with {recipientName} that all delivery details are correct and subsequently make any changes prior to the first delivery attempt, saving everyone's time, and more importantly, saving you money!
Please note: We understand that the element of surprise can be a wonderful thing when it comes to flower delivery.
However, we urge you to consider otherwise; when you request a "surprise them/do not call ahead" delivery, damage by sunlight, snow, frost, rain or prolonged transport may occur before your flowers reach your recipient. What if no one is home and temperatures plummet to bone-chilling minus 20C or linger at a sweltering 35C?
At the driver’s discretion, your gift may be left with a (possibly) friendly neighbour (yet, for how long!?) or brought back to our shop’s cooler for overnight storage. What if your friend nipped out of town for the weekend without telling their concierge?
Terrain Flowers is not liable for miss-delivery or re-routing costs whether caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses, "leave at the door" instructions, or absences such as vacation/business trip/leaving work early/dog walking.
For everyone's peace of mind, it is always best that the recipient is called in advance and all address details are confirmed!
