Ideas Worth Sharing.
Here at Georgia Tech, we’re constantly surrounded by bright minds and even brighter ideas. TEDxGeorgiaTech strives to share these ideas, from the most sobering to the most eccentric, amplifying their power and potential through the Georgia Tech campus and beyond. We are a creative outlet, and believe in celebrating the curiosity of the mind.
We’re looking for change makers who are ready to share their ideas in engaging, impactful ways so that our community can continue to grow and stay inspired. We’re looking for voices of passion, inspiration, and clarity. Something that shows resiliency, after all, this is the year to rebound.
Apply to speak at our annual salon in April 2021! This event is focused on Sustainability, in whatever way that means to you. From environmental sustainability to social sustainability, we want to hear from you. This event is open to anyone in the Atlanta area, whether affiliated with Georgia Tech or not. Student, Alumni, Professional - we want to hear your story.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to offer as much of the TEDx experience as possible, while keeping your safety in the highest priority. Thus, we will be holding virtual events, which will be livestreamed to our audience. We will have a location set-up with all of our production and camera equipment, and select members from our team will be present to ensure the delivery of your talk goes smoothly. We will take all necessary precautions, including: wearing cloth face coverings, providing hand sanitizer, and social distancing. You will have access to all of our resources as usual, and we will do our best to emulate the real-audience experience for each of you. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable with this structure, please reach out to our team (information found below) and we will do our best to accomodate for you.
Dates:
The deadline to apply to speak is February 21st at 11:59 PM.
Note: This application contains a required video submission (details can be found towards the end of the application)
