  • This application is intended to offer educational speaking opportunities throughout TSHP activities year round.

    Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the TSHP Education Affairs Council during their monthly meetings. Proposals may not receive a response for up to 60 days after submission.

    Once reviewed by the TSHP Education Affairs Council, prospective presenters will be contacted with additional details.

      Please note: If the primary presenter is a pharmacist in residency; the Preceptor Pharmacist must be a content contributor and co-presenter to be accepted.

    • Presentation Details 
    • TSHP is seeking presentations that utlize advanced learning techniques for adults. Presentations that incorporate case-studies, group discussion, gamification, audience polling, etc. will be given preference over a lecture style. Please note: Technical assistance to facilitate these techniques may be available through TSHP.

      In addition, we encourage providing resources and supporting materials like case-studies, handouts, recommended reading lists, etc.


    • Educational Needs Assessment
      A needs assessment should be completed before planning CPE activities and should guide content and delivery. The requesting group, along with faculty, will be required to complete an educational needs assessment that will demonstrate evidence-based assessment showing the current state of practice, the state of desired practice, and the knowledge or practice gap identified for each activity.
