TOWING ROTATION APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) will establish a Towing Rotation List (“List”) every other year in accordance with the requirements found in the applicable federal and state laws and regulations. . Being on the List is a privilege and not a right. To be eligible to be on the List, towing companies must fill out the Towing Rotation Application (“Application”) and must agree to comply with the rules and regulations as set forth in this Towing Rotation Agreement (“Agreement”). Failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement may lead to sanctions against the towing company, as described in this Agreement. By signing this Agreement, the duly authorized representative on the Application shall represent and confirm that the entire document has been read, the information is correct and the towing company and all of its employees are bound by the provisions of the Agreement. Also, the towing company accepts all responsibility for the actions of its owners, agents, employees and tow truck passengers as they relate to the Agreement. Falsification or mis-representation of any part of this Agreement shall result in the immediate suspension from the List and may be charged with a separate criminal offense.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered to be on the List, all requirements listed below shall be met and it is your responsibility to stay current on all certifications and provide to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office your yearly updated certifications:
• Completed and signed Application
• A valid business license
• A State approved storage facility/impound lot located within the assigned zone
• A 30-minute response time to all calls of service from an deputy of the Utah County Sheriff's Office (UCSO)
• Driver certifications and permits as required herein
• UDOT certificate for each operating tow truck
• UDOT certificate for the tow company
• Copies of each tow truck State registration
• Certificate of liability insurance showing required amounts of coverage
• Copies of insurance card and MCS-90 endorsement
• Tow fee schedule
• Workers compensation certificate
• Establish a one-year history of stability and reliability in responding to towing calls/dispatches

A COPY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE PROVIDED ALONG WITH THE TOWING ROTATION APPLICATION AND LICENSE AGREEMENT. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE DENIED.
