DHA is listed in Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) as a color additive for use in imparting color to the human body. However, its use in cosmetics – including sunless “tanning” products – is restricted to external application. According to CFR, “externally applied” cosmetics are those “applied only to external parts of the body and not to the lips or any body surface covered by mucous membrane.” (21 CFR 70.3v)DHA reacts with the skin’s amino acids resulting in a “tan” similar to that of the sun. The darker you can tan naturally, the darker you can tan with a spray tan.Like most cosmetics, avoid exposure to the eyes, lips and other parts of the body covered with a mucous membrane. This should be accomplished by following the staff’s breathing instructions as to avoid inhaling or ingesting the sunless product and by applying the barrier cream.Be advised there may be a small percentage of individuals whose skin does not react favorably to spray tanning. Some medications such as birth control pills, hormone replacement medications, or antibiotics may alter your spray tan. Please consult with your technician if you have any questions. All the ingredients in the product used in this procedure are intended for cosmetic use and generally regarded as safe. There are, however, occasions where individuals may be allergic to one or more ingredients in the spray tan solution. If this occurs, shower and discontinue use. If severe, contact a physician. You may ask to see the ingredients prior to application.It is your responsibility to inform the tanning technician of any allergies, relevant medical history or prior adverse reactions to self-tanning products and moisturizers. Warning: This product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.

Please be advised we will not spray tan a recent burn within 30 days. This causes your skin to peel more and can be painful. If you are tanning for a photographic session, modeling assignments, weddings or special documented event, we recommend a trial spray tan before spraying you for these events. We have many solutions and the tanning technician may need to find the best solution that will help achieve your desired tan shade.

You must give us 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of your spray tan if you wish to avoid a late cancellation fee. Clients cancelling within less than 24 hours of their scheduled appointment will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of scheduled procedure. Please see “Glow Parties and Glow Shares” below for more information on our cancellation policy for groups. If you cancel within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment you will be required to pay for the service IN FULL. Please note that cancellations can only be done via text or by speaking to your technician. We DO NOT accept cancellations by email.

Our technician will text or call once arrived at the location and will wait for the arrival of the client no longer than 10 minutes at the scheduled location. If our technician has already reached the scheduled location and you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be subject to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the service. You will be also required to have a credit card on file to secure any future bookings. Clients who do not show more than once will be required to pay in full before any future appointments.

Any booking with 4 or more people must be secured by having a valid credit card or deposit. For groups 4+ we require 48 hours for cancellations. In the event of late cancellations or no shows the credit card will be charged according to the policies above.Parental signature required for all minors (under 18). All minor clients (under 18)will need a signature by parent/guardian before any services can be provided.
