Leadership Burleson Application

Leadership Burleson a dynamic program by the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce is designed to empower professionals with a passion for community and leadership excellence. Since its launch in 2015 and the inaugural class of 2016, this program has been a catalyst for personal and professional growth.

Over an engaging 10-month period, you'll attend monthly full-day sessions that connect you with key local figures in politics, business, and civic areas. These sessions are more than meetings they're opportunities to spark change, network, and deepen your connection with the Burleson community. Classes are the third Wednesday each month, typically from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and includes lunch. The Leadership Burleson experience includes attendance at the City’s full day Project U Leadership Conference on Tuesday, February 23, with reserved tables for our cohort.

To ensure the quality of the Leadership Burleson experience, only one class is offered per year and class size is limited.

Candidates for the program must meet the following criteria:

Are committed to personal growth and career advancement while serving the Burleson community.
Leadership Burleson is a full year commitment and will require participants to attend all meetings and outings. We understand unexpected events happen, if you must miss a session, you can make it up by volunteering at one of our chamber events.
By submitting this application, participants agree they can and will commit the time required for the program. If employed, the participant has the full endorsement of their employer to commit the time required as a participant in the program.

The 2027 Program Fee is $800 for Chamber members and $1,000 for non-members and is due upon acceptance into the program. This fee covers expenses for all Leadership Burleson meetings and outings.

Membership in the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce is required to be a participant in the Leadership Burleson Program. Are you or your company an active Chamber Member?
