Mermaids & Mariners on the St. Clair ~ Vendor Application
Ahoy, Vendors! You are invited to showcase your treasures at Mermaids & Mariners on the St. Clair. All applications will be accepted, however limited spots are available and preference will be given to vendors that offer mermaid/water/nautical-inspired and mystical-themed products/services to flow with our theme----artisans, retail, organizations, service-based industries, entertainment, food and MORE! Each vendor will receive a 10x10 tent space upon approval of your Whozits and Whatzits. The cost for each 10x10 space is $100 (+HST). Applications must be received by December 31st, 2021. Selected/Approved vendors will be contacted to make payment by January 31st, 2022. Terms & Conditions
PLEASE SIGN BELOW THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS. CANCELLATIONS: Application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We do not, at any time, issue refunds unless we have cancelled the event with ample time prior to its scheduled date. If the event is cancelled AFTER logistical and advertising arrangements have been made, refunds will not be issued under our rain or shine policy nor due to any forces of nature, (i.e., tornados, floods). We understand that there are many unforeseen circumstances that may arise last minute, however, we cannot make exceptions to this policy. RAIN OR SHINE POLICY: We cannot reschedule this event for a future weekend if adverse weather arises. If inevitable inclement weather is expected, please check our social media and the Facebook Vendor Group for any updates to see if the event has been cancelled. The event will be held rain or shine and we will not cancel the event in advance. If we are required to cancel the event due to a decision made by the government, province or township, we will make every effort to notify you in advance by any means we feel fit; however, no credits or refunds will be issued if we are unable to cancel prior to making any logistical or advertising arrangements. This timeline will be at our discretion. If it is decided on the spot to cancel a show due to hazardous weather conditions, credits or refunds will be not issued. DEADLINES: Applications will close when we have reached the maximum number of selected exhibitors for the space we have available. Please keep in mind that vendor events can close early based on the high level of interest shown, so the best suggestion is to apply for the event AS SOON AS the application becomes available. WAIVER & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The undersigned vendor hereby agrees to hold "Mermaids & Mariners on the St. Clair", "Deeply Creative", their officers, directors, sponsors, employees and volunteers, and the Corporation of the Township of St. Clair, harmless from any and all damage, expense or liability from any injury or damage to any person, including the general public, the vendor, its agents or employees or to the property of the vendor arising out of the vendor's participation in "Mermaids & Mariners on the St. Clair". "Mermaids & Mariners on the St. Clair" and "Deeply Creative" and any of its sponsors will not be responsible for any loss or losses incurred by the vendor, as a result of fire, theft, water, accidents, weather, acts of God or other mishaps or incidents not specifically enumerated herein. The vendor assumes all risks and responsibilities in participating in this event.
