One recipient may be selected to receive one (1) $500 scholarship and one (1) free year membership to Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation, awarded by the Brown County Farm Bureau.
Eligibility:
a) Applicants taking post high school agriculture related training, long or short course within the University of Wisconsin System or Wisconsin Technical College System. (This includes the study of Genetics, Landscape Architecture, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Food Industry, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture Journalism and other agriculture related fields of study.)
b) Candidate for the scholarship must be a Brown County resident or student at a Brown County School.
c) Candidate must be currently enrolled or planning to enter their first year of college at the time of application.
d) Candidate need not be a Farm Bureau member.
Rules Regulating Use of Scholarship:
a) Scholarship funds will be awarded after you have completed the first semester of college. Recipient must show proof of completing the first semester of college in good standing (2.0 GPA or better).
b.) Scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient.
Completed applications are due April 1, 2024.
