  • HOCKEY VICTORIA PARTICIPATION OFFICER 2021

  • Hockey Victoria is looking for Participation Officers to help grow Hockey across Victoria throughout 2021. With our Term 1 Roadshow Program for 2021 in its planning phase, this is a great time to get on board and gain industry experience.

  • In order to work in schools all applicants over the age of 18 will be required to have a current Victorian Working with Children's Check (WWCC-E), the E stands for an Employee level check, please ensure you obtain this. Please upload both a front and back photo/scan of your WWCC or VIT card below.

    To apply for a WWCC please click here. Please note we will not accept V (Volunteer) level WWCC checks.

    In order to be an Participation Officer you must hold a WWCC-E or be willing to obtain one. You do not require one in order to complete your application

  • Coaching Experience

  • You do not need to be an accredited coach in order to become a Participation Officer. Being able to interact with children and having a fun, engaging and open personality is the key to being a successful Participation Officer.

    If you do possess a hockey coaching accreditation it is beneficial.

    Please detail your current Hockey Australia (HockeyEd) accreditation and previous coaching experience below.

  • Uniform & Equipment

  • Hockey Victoria will provide Participation Officers with a polo shirt to wear for all programs. Please indicate your preferred Polo shirt size below.

  • Ladies Polo Shirt size chart available here.

    Mens Polo Shirt size chart available here.

  • Hockey Victoria will require Participation Officers to transport equipment kits to programs. Officers will be responsible for maintaining the equipment and monitoring anything that gets lost or damaged.

    Equipment Kits will contain:

    36 sticks
    36 modified hockey balls
    30 cones

  • Availability

  • The Hockey Victoria Schools Roadshow is our primary recruitment initiative, and this is the time where Participation Officers are in high demand.

    Please provide an indicative guide to your availability during the below timeframe.

    The expectation is that you are available between 8:45 - 3:30 on the days you select.

    We will also have additional Roadshows outside this period.

    We understand that your availability may change between now and February which is why we are only asking for an indicative guide at this stage
