IASR is planning to hold 3-4 webinars each year to engage with the latest sexual science year-round! Full, associate, and student members are invited to attend. Researchers will present short 15-minute talks on new data, methodologies, theory, or professional development topics. Each webinar will consist of two speakers (one junior and one senior researcher) with time for an open discussion afterward. The IASR student representatives and communication liaison will coordinate the schedule based on proposals received, speaker availability, and topics.
If you would like to be considered as a speaker, please submit a tentative title and 300-word abstract using this form. Your proposal does not need to be as fully polished as a conference submission would be, and research efforts that are still in progress are welcome.
If you would like to nominate someone else as a speaker, you will be asked to provide their contact information and a brief explanation of why you would like to hear this person give a talk. If you have an existing relationship with the nominee, you will also be asked whether you would be open to helping the IASR webinar series team invite them to participate.
Please note, all speakers are encouraged to list their talk as an invited presentation on their CVs, but there will be no monetary compensation.
