  • Application for Admission: 2022-2023

  • Thank you for your interest in applying to Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School! Located in the Titusville community of Birmingham, Alabama, Holy Family Cristo Rey (HFCR) is an independent, Catholic school committed to providing students with a college preparatory education and real-world work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).

Our mission is to equip our scholars with the tools necessary for entering and completing college while providing a supportive and encouraging environment for scholars to reach their educational and personal best! It is important that prospective students possess a desire to attend college as that will help to ensure they take full advantage of their time here and their high school efforts will support their future goals.

This application will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. Your student will be needed to answer the first set of questions that are designated for student responses.

We recommend having the following documents available as you complete this application:

    • Birth certificate or other proof of age (students must turn 14 by fall)
    • Social Security Card
    • Immunization Records
    • Final report card for last year (2020-2021) and most recent report card
    • Standardized Test Scores
    • Copy of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan, if applicable
    • Copy of each parent/guardian's 2021 tax return (Form 1040)
    • Copy of each parent/guardian's 2021 W-2

Priority Deadline to submit an application is January 5, 2022. Families that submit an application by November 30, 2021, will be entered into a drawing to receive free tuition for the student's freshman year. One male and one female applicant will be selected.

Transfers: Holy Family Cristo Rey's academic and Corporate Work Study Program is based on the assumption that students will attend HFCR for all four years, and so our priority is admitting students to the freshman class. However, we will consider applications for students entering the 10th grade on a limited basis. Please contact the Admissions Office at 205-263-0133 if you would like more information or would like to discuss transfer student admissions in more detail.

Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national or ethnic origin in its student admissions process, faculty and staff hiring practices, educational policies, scholarships, athletics, or other school administered programs.
