Please join us at the Trails for All gathering in and around New Minas Nova Scotia, September 16 – 18, 2021.
Trails for All is an event for everyone who loves, supports, and wants to contribute to the trails movement in Nova Scotia. We will share experience, wisdom, and innovative ideas from people and projects that help us strengthen the trails community, enhance trail opportunities, and advance the Shared Strategy for Trails in Nova Scotia. Sessions will address topics on our four themes, inspired by Trails Strategy:
- Going Farther Together: Discussion and stories about leadership and collaboration within the trails sector
- Energizing the Movement: Strategies for empowering trail builders to follow their passions and getting first-timers involved
- Planning for Success: Examples of how improved planning can lay the path to reaching your trails vision
- Connecting People and Pathways: Ideas that create, invite, and promote positive and inclusive trail experiences
Whether you are a trail volunteer, trails professional, or simply have a trail story or message to share, we invite you to submit your session ideas to the program planning team.
All formats are welcome! Your idea could include research presentations, panels, lessons, discussions, indoor or outdoor activities, workshops or something we haven’t thought of yet. Our location is suitable for indoor and outdoor sessions (weather dependent). Sessions can be short and sweet or deeper dives up to one hour.
Please note, a submission to the call for sessions does not guarantee acceptance.
