    Series: Acts: Empowered for the Mission, Part 15

    Text: Acts 6:3-15, 7:54-60, 8:2

    Main Idea: When we have godly character because we have been with God, God will use us mightily to impact the world with the Gospel.

  • 1.     His character: We can expect God to use us if we are full of      !

    • Full of the           : Daily submission to and produced the fruit of the Spirit. (v. 3,5,10, Gal 5:22-23)
    • Full of       : Skill to apply knowledge. (v. 6, 10)
    • Full of       : Trusting in a sovereign God. (v. 5)
    • Full of       : God’s grace made him gracious to others. (v. 8, 7:60)
    • Full of       : God gave him ability to do signs & wonders. (v. 8)


    2.     His courage: God wants us to be courageous in our      !

    • Be ready to speak       to those whose hearts are blinded by Satan and have hard hearts toward the Gospel. (v. 9)
    • Expect the Spirit to       us & give us wisdom. (v. 10)
    • Expect extreme       to the Gospel, sometimes vehemently from the most religious. (v. 11-14)
    • Be faithful & trust God with       .


    3.     His countenance: We must be      God to have His countenance for the world to see! (v. 15). 

    4.     His catalysis: Our hope is that God will use us to accelerate the Church’s      mission to carry the Gospel to the whole world. (8:1)
