Virtual Counselor is an Online Group Therapy Practice Specializing in Supporting Teens, Young Adults, K12 Students, Colleges, and EAP Partnerships.

Since 2013, we have provided over 100,000+ Telehealth sessions and continue to expand nationwide in 40+ states. Our licensed online mental health therapists support students, parents, schools, and private pay clients via live video conferencing. TeleMental Health allows these highly trained social workers, school counselors, and therapists to deliver pivotal therapy sessions to K-12 and college students through our school partnerships. We also support EAP programs, businesses, families, and individuals.

We are hiring fully licensed professionals and school counselors to join our diverse network of national clinicians as independent contractors. Independent contractors are hired to work in one or multiple areas of programming.

K-12 SCHOOL BASED TELEHEALTH
The K-12 School Counseling Team is dedicated to partnering with School Administration to provide comprehensive telehealth services in unison with student educational goals. Virtual counseling is offered in the form of weekly individual, group, and parent training as a Special Education Related Service. In addition to direct service time, clinicians will be responsible for completing progress notes, goal plans, monthly paperwork, quarterly progress reports, and other applicable paperwork. This is considered a collaborative role in which clinicians are an extension of the school's IEP team.
- Required Credentials: PA State License or PA School Counselor Certificate
- Caseload Minimum: 15 hours per week (25-30 students) with the opportunity for increased hours
- Hours: Provided on traditional school days and hours. Daytime availability is required.
- School Experience: Familiarity with School-Based Services, Special Education, and IEP/504 plans.
- Clearances: Updated within one year. (FBI, Child Abuse, State Police, etc)
- Referrals: Provided directly by Virtual Counselor and our partnering schools at a steady pace.
COLLEGE TELEHEALTH
College Telehealth is a Specialized Online Mental Health Network designed to partner with universities, creating a customizable accessible, action-oriented resource, to support students develop autonomy and independence. College Telehealth was designed for colleges & college students with limited mental health resources to assist students in finding a healthy balance between emotional wellness and academic success during their transition to adulthood.
- Preferred Experience working in higher education with college students, nontraditional students, and graduate-level professionals.
- Niche Area of specialization is preferred (anxiety, trauma, DBT, substance abuse, eating disorders, LGBTQI+, etc.)
- Referrals: All referrals for this role are provided directly from our partnering colleges and higher education universities. The pace of referrals varies per state need.

PRIVATE PRACTICE - OUTPATIENT - EAP SERVICES
Are you interested in supplementing or building an online therapy practice, but don’t have the resources, knowledge, or experience to do so on your own? Join our team and we will mentor your growth and provide you with opportunities for referrals. Clinicians will be supported in growing their online private practice as part of our national network and through our company EAP - Employee Assistance Programs.
- Niche Area of specialization is preferred (anxiety, trauma, DBT, substance abuse, eating disorders, etc.)
- Clinician Set Rates: Clinicians determine individualized rates based on their specialty and demographic locations.
- EAP: Therapists can join our existing EAP contracts.
- Networking: With our guidance, therapists should be willing to network to grow their referral base and recognition in the community as needed. This is a mutual marketing effort.
REIMBURSEMENT
Several factors determine the reimbursement rate we offer clinicians. The interview process helps us to learn more about you and which area(s) or program will best utilize your strengths, experience, leadership, and clinical skills. By talking with you, we will collectively determine if becoming a Core vs. Affiliate Partner Clinician is the best fit. We have both a % percentage-based and flat-rate reimbursement model.

- Desire to join our leadership and program development team
- Ability to work in multiple programs or states
