    Dear Essay Participants,

    We're glad to know that you will be participating in the speech/extempore contest, in shaa 'Allah. You will also be pleased to know that you will be competing with the best in your level. Please complete the form below and help us plan for the event.

    Tentative Speech time limits (subject to change) are given below.

  • Extemporaneous Sign up

    Levels 3 to 5 students can still sign up for the extemporaneous contest on the day of the event even if you have not signed up in advance.  Please click (New Sign up -Extemporaneous) if you have not signed up in advance and you want to be considered for the contest.

    Only those who signed up in advance are guranteed to participate in the contest on 21 January, however, we may pick a few from the pool of new sign up list, if there are promising candidates. 

    The top 3 winners of the extemporaneous contest in the 1st round will compete at the 1:15 pm award ceremony. A special cash award is planned for the winner of the 2nd round extemporaneous contest.

    • Each participant will receive a complimentary lunch ticket. One accompanying adult per family will also receive a complimentary ticket.

  • Parental Consent and Liability Agreement

    I authorize my child to participate in the EPC, organized by the MAFIQ Foundation, and affirm that my child’s participation is voluntary and encouraged.

    I grant the MAFIQ Foundation permission to record and publish photographs, videos, and speeches taken during the event. All such recordings are the property of the MAFIQ Foundation.

    I understand that I am responsible for supervising my minor child(ren) during the event and for ensuring that the proceedings are not disrupted at any time. I agree not to hold the EPC or the MAFIQ Foundation liable for any issues, problems, mishaps, accidents, or injuries.

    I also acknowledge that I am fully accountable for any damage caused to the facility by my child during the event and agree to cover the cost of any necessary repairs.

    I understand that parents are not permitted to raise questions regarding judging during the event. Any concerns or disputes must be submitted in writing to essays@mafiq.org.
