Elevator Booking Agreement:
Please review the following Terms and Conditions:
- Bookings are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- The key for locking off the elevator is to be picked up at PEKA Management’s office located at #105-1002 8th Ave. Canmore, AB and an elevator deposit of $100 is required by cheque payable to PEKA. Our office hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, closed 12 - 1pm for lunch. After your completed move, the deposit will be returned in full provided no damages have occurred and the elevator key has been returned.
- Keys must be picked up the same day or the business day before the scheduled move.
- Keys must be returned by 9am on the next business day.
- Only one elevator is to be used, Elevator #1 which is the closest to the main door. This elevator will be prepared for your use with four (4) hanging safety mats. Do not remove these mats and should any loss or damages occur to the mats during your use, please notify the property manager immediately.
- Elevator #2 is to be available for resident use at all times. During your move please be considerate of residents at all times. Use the elevator within the time frame you have booked and make reasonable concessions for residents with mobility challenges.
- To lock the elevator, insert the key in the top lock inside the elevator panel and switch the Red Service switch to the “ON” position. When you have completed your move, please ensure you leave the elevator unlocked and remove the key
- All cardboard boxes must be cut and folded and placed in the recycling area in accordance with the building recycling program.
Use Of Exterior Doors:
- Whichever entrance you use to accommodate your move must remain secure during your entire move. You or someone of your choosing is to be present at any open doors. DO NOT prop doors open with rugs, shims, paper etc. this is damaging to the hinges and a security risk.
- Please keep the lobby as clear as possible to minimize the inconvenience to other residents.
Use Of Vehicles:
- The loading zone in front of the building is to be used for all vehicles required for moves.
- DO NOT park in other resident’s stalls, or emergency access areas. You may utilize the visitor stalls for your move.
Damage:
- Report any Damage to the Elevator/Elevator area PRIOR to beginning your move by calling 403-678-6162, Ext. 234 (leave a detailed message) or email rundlehouse@peka.ca
Liability:
- I shall be liable for the full cost of all repairs for any damage which may occur as a result of the use of the elevator by me or my agents. I shall accept the cost of repairs as assessed by the property manager and acknowledge that all or part of the elevator deposit shall be withheld and applied towards the cost of repairs.
- Any cost of repairs in excess of the elevator deposit will be charged back to my unit and will be due by the 1st of the following month, or deducted from my security deposit if I am moving out.
- I acknowledge and agree that neither the property owner nor the property manager shall be liable for any loss, damage and/or personal injury caused or suffered by any party.
- I understand that I will be under video surveillance in the elevator area, and garbage/recycling areas.
