Other - Describe below
Spinning Nut / Hanger:
Requires tightening with a wrench. Please carry a wrench (9/16th or adjustable)!
Finger tightening short term (ideally >1.5 thread visible above the stud).
SAS DOES NOT tighten nuts or replace hangers. Please support the community and carry an extra stainless steel hanger, nut and washer (available at Climb On or Valhalla Pure in Squamish).
Spinning Stud:
Stud itself spinning in the hole.
Wrench tightening will not work.
Finger spinning the nut or hanger reveals spinning stud.
Gouged Quicklinks:
Deep gouges caused by bolt hanger eroding the softer steel of quicklinks.
Common on high fall volume permadraws.
Also found on rappel and belay anchors.
Can be replaced with climbing rated quicklink (available at Climb On or Valhalla Pure in Squamish) and adjustable wrench
