Lincoln Park Hair Salon & Spa is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfection procedures in accordance with the City of Chicago, CDC and IDPH regulations. Things change rapidly, but we will do our best to udpate all clients with the latest safety guidelines.
We are currently implementing the following enhanced procedures to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Requiring all clients and staff to wear a mask at all times.
- Screening staff for symptoms of Covid-19 on a daily basis.
- Checking clients and staff temperature upon arrival. If you plan on biking to your appointment, this may raise your body temperature. You must arrive 15 minutes early and wait outside of the building for your body temp to normalize prior to entry.
- Providing additional time between appointments to prevent client contact with each other and a one way traffic path.
- Limiting services to scheduled clients only, companions are not allowed at this time.
- Abiding to the City's occupancy limits at all times, and offering an area for parents to come with their children that is isolated from the salon area.
- Asking all clients to sanitize hands upon arrival and before leaving.
- Service providers thoroughly cleaning hands and wearing new gloves during all treatments.
- Service providers wearing a clean face mask or face shield and an apron.
- All product bottles used during treatment will be placed on the trolley for disinfection and disposable items will be used when possible.
- All surfaces will be wiped thoroughly with hospital grade disinfectant before and after each client according to the manufacturer's directions.
- No waiting area available. Clients are asked to wait in their vehicle or outside until it is time for their appointment. Please do not call or wait for us to text you, rather come inside when it is time for your appointment. We will contact you if your provider is running behind.
- No beverages or magazines will be offered, but clients may bring in their own covered beverage.
- We ask that guests that have been exposed to or have felt symptoms of COVID-19, contact us to reschedule their appointment with as much notice as possible.
