    Candidates should be aware of the fact that they can apply for an EMJMD scholarship to any of the Erasmus+ Erasmus Mundus courses of their choice (see the EMJMD catalogue website available under the following link: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus/library/emjmd-catalogue_en), but for a given academic year the number of applications must be limited to maximum three different joint programmes.

    • Copy of your ID / proof of residence;
    • Scanned copy of the university degree diploma(s)
    • Official transcript of records with study results and legalised copy of the degree certificate(s)*

    • Up-to-date curriculum vitae in Europass format
    • Proof of English proficiency (alternative: request of exemption or interview)
    • Recommendation letter(s) (min 1 – max 3)

    * Verification of original documents. We require that all admitted applicants submit their original degree certificates for verification upon arrival in the first hosting Institution.

  • C. English language proficiency
    Minimum requirements: official TOEFL (institutional tests are not accepted) with at least 88 points (internet-based test), 230 points (computer-based test) or 575 points (paper-based test), IELTS Academic with an overall grade of at least 6.5 or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) with minimum level C.

    In case you are expecting the results please indicate the expected date. 

    You are exempted from the certification of English language proficiency if English is your native language or if your degree was taght entirely in English.

    Candadates might also opt for a test that will be administered by the EGEI selection committee. 

  • Important! You are only exempt from providing one of the certificates specified above if your qualifying first degree (bachelor’s/undergraduate degree) was fully taken in the USA, Canada (English speaking part), Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom or Ireland. Note that if your bachelor’s/undergraduate degree was only partly taught in one of the above countries, you are not exempted from taking one of the tests indicated above. For other degrees taught in English in other countries the EGEI selection committee reserves the right to evaluate candidates via an interview. 

    Interviews will be organized in march 2021 or earlier.

  • If your test results are announced after the official deadline for applications, insert in the fiels score “pending” . You are required to communicate the results per e-mail to the EGEI Secretariat as soon as you receive them.

  • References. We strongly recommend to include in your application min 1 / max 3 reference letters.

    Please type the contact details of two (or three) persons willing to provide a reference for you. They should be able to communicate in English. Note that it is advised to list at least one academic reference from previous studies. The referees in this list can be the same persons that have provided recommendation letters.

     

    Proof of current residence.  In order to verify your place of residence, you need to submit a residence certificate with your application for admission.  You can use for example: 

    • a residence certificate issued in accordance with the candidate’s municipality normal registration rules; 
    • a certificate from your place of work, study or training issued by the employer or institution in question. If you have been studying the last year before you apply, you can e.g. upload a copy of your academic transcript or a registration letter of the university where you have been studying. If you have been working you can use a statement of your employer.​
    • You may use e.g. an electricity bill or any document you can think of, which confirms the place where you have been living
