Prescriptions are issued if it is medically safe, to patients of the Clinic who are under regular review only.
Repeat prescriptions are issued to cover any shortages of medication between appointments. A repeat prescription can only be issued once between appointments.
Any request for a prescription outside a consultation requires completion of this form for your request to be considered.
How will I receive my prescribed medications?
We endeavour to review your request within 3 working days. If your request is accepted, then an administrative fee of £30 will be payable. We will contact you separately for this payment.
After we receive your payment, a prescription will be sent to Cloud Rx, the online Pharmacy within 3 working days. You will be required to pay Cloud Rx directly for the costs of medication and delivery.
We do not post prescriptions.
Kindly note that a repeat prescription may be declined if:
- you have been discharged from the clinic, or have not attended for review in line with the recommendations made by your doctor
- you are due a consultation (you should check your last letter to find out when your consultation has been recommended)
- you have not completed the blood tests required
- it is not medically safe to prescribe the treatment without being seen by a Doctor
- your request is for Isotretinoin, for potent steroid creams or other medications prescribed at consultation only
- A period of more than 12 months has elapsed since your last visit
In these instances, you will be invited to arrange a further appointment with us.
Time frames
As we are not an emergency service, please ensure you plan your appointments and repeat prescription requests with at least 2-3 weeks minimum notice so that you do not run out. A minimum of 3 business days is required to process repeat prescription requests.
