Terms and conditions All Devices. Warranty information Repair Warranty 90 days warranty on soldering repair labor and work. This will not cover manufacturer product defects, recalled items, liquid damage, excessive dust/debris, and/or physical damage inside the device or console. After repair, all devices will have serial numbers recorded, warranty stickers placed, and digital photo records of before and after repair conditions possibly noted. One-year warranty on all brand new LCD screens, hard drives, and battery parts. New devices and sundries sold will all be covered under a one-year warranty. Glass screens Due to the nature of device repairs, such as iPhones and iPods, iMacs, or similar, the only point of entry is a fragile glass screen, fragile glass removal may be the only way to gain entry to devices for service parts replacement, Tech Bench Advisor LLC is not responsible for any cracks or damage to the glass panel or frame. Any replacement screen parts costs should be considered by the customer before the repair is permitted. Deep fan cleaning and heat sink cleaning service This service does not come under any warranty. Customer mishap during 90 days warranty If a defect is found within the 90 days warranty, we advise the customer not to attempt to repair the device or to remove or replace any component themselves, or by another vendor or service. If you have excessive heat from the device, or experience ghost touching symptoms on the touch screen or liquid damage, please remove the battery or main power if possible, and power down the device as soon as possible. Repairs before or during vacation or long trip If a customer wants to repair a device before a long trip, we recommend having the device serviced at least seven days before the trip. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused due to parts delay, defect, or failure. Water-resistance on phones tablets and watches The seal is made one time during the manufacturing factory process. We cannot hermetically seal the device once the repair is completed. The seal is broken when the screen is damaged or cracked. A replacement glue tape seal is manually placed back to the screen frame, this will protect the device from light water splashes, light weather conditions, and light dampness in kitchens and bathrooms, It will not protect against liquid submerged devices or heavy liquid damage. Water marker will be placed into the device to ensure no damage has accrued to the internal motherboard or LCD panel, If water markers are red during the warranty period, the warranty is void. Data recovery information Tech Bench Advisor LLC acknowledges that recovered data from all forms of data storage is visible and viewable to technicians working on the device. Tech Bench Advisor LLC will not share data with anyone other than the owner of the data storage device, recovered data can only be shared with the owner of the device with express permission. Tech Bench Advisor LLC is not responsible for any data corruption or loss of data during or after the repair of customer recovery attempts. Terms and conditions 1. DISCLAIMER 1.1 TECH BENCH ADVISOR LLC offers computer service, repair, and upgrading services as is. We believe business should be conducted honestly, fairly, and be subject to reasonableness. We strive to provide the highest quality of service and support. We cannot guarantee specific results for our services but will operate under the principles stated above and expect you to do the same. 2. BILLING TERMS 2.1 Computer servicing and repair services are billed at an hourly rate. Charges will be calculated in quarter-hour increments, rounded up by default, and carry a minimum half-hour charge. We may, on a case-by-case basis, choose to round down to the nearest quarter-hour. 2.2 We will provide you with an estimate of the cost of the work that you request us to do. Estimates are guaranteed to 15% accuracy. In the case that we foresee a deviation in the cost of job completion beyond the above-stated allowable amount, we will make every effort to contact you and inform you of the situation and receive authorization to continue or stop at the estimated limit. In the case we cannot reach you, we will continue to work until the estimated limit is reached. Once reached, we will halt work until contact is established. 3. PAYMENT TERMS 3.1 Full payment is due upon completion of servicing, upgrading, or repair. Failure to pay may result in the debt being turned over to a collections agency and reporting to the credit bureau. You will be responsible for all costs incurred by us, collection agencies, or courts incurred by litigation for failure to pay. 4. LIABILITY 4.1 We provide our services in an effort to fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the computer systems for which you request such services. We will not intentionally harm your system. It is our goal to fix your computer, not damage it more. In the case of accidental damage or data to your system, further damage or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, misconfigured software, or hardware problems/failures, you agree to hold us, TECH BENCH ADVISOR LLC, and any persons associated with or involved in the work being done for you harmless from damages resulting from such problems. 5. SUPPORT 5.1 Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. We will back up our work with support services. Free support will be provided for problems requested to be resolved in the work order but not resolved. Additional support may be provided free of charge at our discretion I read and understand the above information
