    A separate application is required for each exemption.

  • EXEMPTION TYPES

    EXEMPTION TYPE 1: Coles MINIROOS/JUNIOR player to participate in YOUNGER age competition.

    EXEMPTION TYPE 2: Register MORE THAN the maximum number of players in a senior league squad as specified in FFNC Competition Regulations (not applicable for Grades 12 - 16).

    EXEMPTION TYPE 3: SENIOR player to be graded MORE THAN TWO leagues below the player’s last grading in FFNC (any previous season in last five years).

    EXEMPTION TYPE 4: SENIOR player to be re-graded (above or below) the initial league nominated on a 2026 Squad List submitted to FFNC.

    EXEMPTION TYPE 5: OTHER (where not specified above and only where not otherwise being prohibited as a consequence of the request being contrary to regulations as defined by FFNC, NNSWF or FA).

  • PLEASE NOTE: An application is NOT an approval and may be denied by FFNC. A player is not eligible to participate in a competition outside their eligibility until/unless written approval is issued by FFNC. Exemptions relevant to a team or any other application for an exemption are also contingent upon approval being given from FFNC.

  • The player will not participate in any other higher league team this season*
  • The club cannot provide a viable alternative for this player to participate*
  • The club submits that the application for this exemption based on the efforts to register all players within the constraints of existing teams and player numbers*
