SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION: IISD Classroom Teacher/Staff/Librarian Scholarship - ($1000): Awarded to an Irving ISD employee who plans to pursue continuing education to further their skills in their respective professions. They must be continuing with IISD for the school year following award announcement.

ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS: To be eligible, the applicant must be currently employed by the Irving Independent School District, having worked a minimum of three complete years, or be in the process of completing your third year, at the time of application. The employee must also meet these requirements:
- Documented participation in School and Community Organizations and Activities
- Proven Leadership Abilities
- Participation in Department Activities
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Complete and submit the ISF Scholarship application
Two letters of reference who are not related to applicant
Understand and agree all information submitted with the application becomes the property of the Irving Schools Foundation.
SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION: Mary D. Lankford Scholarship for Librarians - ($1000): Awarded to a librarian in Irving ISD who plans to pursue continuing education to further their skills. They must be continuing with IISD for the school following award announcement.

ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS: To be eligible, a librarian must be currently employed full-time, permanently by the Irving Independent School District, having worked a minimum of three complete years in the District, be in the process of completing your third year. This scholarship is also open to educators in Irving ISD who are pursuing a degree to become a librarian.

The scholarship is limited to a librarian who has not received a full scholarship (from any source) for graduate work.

The employee must also meet these requirements:
- Documented participation in School and Community Organizations and Activities
- Proven Leadership Abilities
- Participation in Department Activities
