House rules
I as the representative of the guest group staying in a property managed by Niseko Management Service Co., Ltd, operating under the brand name of “Vacation Niseko”, agree that I and all members of the guest group, including myself, will abide by the following rules, terms, and conditions. Furthermore, I understand that if we fail to abide by these rules, terms, and conditions and thereby cause damage, loss, or contamination to the accommodation facilities, whether through negligence, I will take responsibility for the resultant damage and agree to pay for any necessary compensation. However, in cases where your company's damage insurance applies, I delegate the process of claiming insurance to your company. Additionally, during the process of the insurance claim, will utilize use your company's bank account for the transfer of the insurance money.
No Smoking
The property is non-smoking throughout. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the lead guest being charged an additional cleaning fee of 50,000 yen. Evidence such as finding cigarette butts and the presence of a strong cigarette odor are indicative of a breach.
Room Keys
All room keys given at check-in will be returned at check-out. Loss or damage to a key will result in the lead guest being charged 10,000 yen for each key needing replacement. (3,000 yen for digital card keys).
Lost and Found
Property found in the room after check-out will be stored for one week. After which, we will discard it. We will contact you for obvious valuables such as wallets but are not liable for shipping.
Liability Insurance Policy
In the event that liability insurance is applied for on behalf of the Lead Guest. NMS will behave as a delegate for all relevant application procedures thus NMS will be authorized to complete them all. Any payment/insurance proceeds as a result of such applications shall be deposited into the NMS company bank account.
Privacy
We take the utmost care to protect the privacy of our guests, but staff may need to enter a room without the permission of the guest in the following cases:
- During regular in house cleaning.
- When it is deemed necessary to inspect and repair facilities and equipment such as water leaks.
- When it is clear that the guest is acting in violation of the law or causing serious damage to our facilities.
- When there is a strong suspicion that the guest is infected with a serious illness, or when there is a case that requires urgent action such as arranging an ambulance.
Special Notes on Accommodation Conditions
Vacation Niseko has the right to immediately cancel the accommodation contract and order the guest be evicted from the facility when the following acts are performed by the guest:
- When it is clear that the guest is acting in violation of the law or causing serious damage to our facilities.
- Acts that cause harm to other guests and employees. (Including threats and sexual harassment)
- When repeating acts that cause a great deal of inconvenience to other guests. (Loud music, late night party etc.)
- When it is discovered that you are infected with a designated infectious disease such as the novel Coronavirus, or when the possibility is very strongly suspected.
In the above cases, the guest will not be entitled to a refund of the already paid accommodation fee and other services.
Check-in
If you are traveling from abroad, we will copy your passport in accordance with the law. We reserve the right to cancel the accommodation contract should the guest refuse to present a passport.
