Audio recordings from classroom lectures are an accommodation that is available for students with learning disabilities or difficulties, or for whom English is a second language. The accommodation is provided in order to enhance all students’ opportunities to succeed.
All use of audio recordings are for students’ personal learning purposes and professional reference only. Visual recordings are not permitted. Audio recordings from a faculty member cannot be published or redistributed in in any form. Materials may only be used outside the course with written permission granted from the lecturer or faculty member.
Any student who wishes to record class lectures are required to sign an agreement per term, stating that they will not reproduce, sell, share, or publish the instructor’s material received as a result of this accommodation. As a courtesy, you are encouraged to inform instructors when audio-recording classroom instruction.
