Creative Arts Napier offers invaluable services to the local arts community, and endeavours to make the arts affordable and accessible to the wider community.

Friends of CAN support us in our mission to keep the doors of the arts centre open 7 days a week, offering a variety of activities from exhibitions by local and national artists, to arts events and workshops.

Friends benefits:
- 10% discount at Gordon Harris Art Suppliers, online
- Invitations to CAN events and openings
- CAN-e-Newsletter every 2 weeks
- Copy of Hawke's Bay Art Guide
Creative Arts Napier is a registered charity and relies on donations and the Friends of CAN memberships to support daily opertaional costs, and keep entry free to the public.

Volunteer at CAN

The CAN Volunteer programme is vital to the daily operation of the centre. Our volunteers enjoyengaging with the public in the beautiful galleries, and helping the staff with light duties as required. It's a rewarding way to spend a few hours a week.

Volunteering at CAN is flexible and fun, so come and join our team.
