1. Hydrants are close to roads and streets. Please supervise all participants to make sure they stay out of traffic. Please do not block traffic.
2. Wear Masks and Eye Protection to prevent breathing paint fumes and debris.
3. Wear highly visible clothing for others to see you and for protection from paint splatter.
4. Be aware of COVID-19 risks in group settings and comply with state, local, and company regulations.
Painting Suggestion and Procedures:
Please adhere to these procedures to ensure you create a great Fire Hydrant Work of Art.

1. Protect sidewalks and surrounding area by placing down ground covering.
2. Clean the Hydrant with non-toxic solvents and also remove old peeling paint with wire brush or sand paper.
3. Use only outdoor paints to ensure your art work lasts.
4. Please remember to keep our Intention in Mind. Paint the hydrant in a child-like theme to help us Raise Awareness to end Child Trafficking. Use only pleasant and appropriate depictions.
5. Make your Hydrant Visible. Help our Fire Fighters see your Hydrant easily from the Street.
6. Please clean up after yourself. Do not leave litter, empty cans, paper or trash. Make our City Proud!
7. Be Creative! Let your Artistic Side Shine! Look on our Facebook page for approved examples.
