2021 Manitoba Intermediate Honour Concert Band Audition

Directions on how to combine audio files for submission is available at mbband.org Record the scales, then the etudes found at mbband.org Talking on the recording or use of a metronome may result in disqualification. Do not digitally alter a recording or splice during a scale, arpeggio or etude. The audition file should be named and saved as follows: FirstnameLastname_instrument.mp3 (e.g. JaneSmith_trombone.mp3) Auditions received after the deadline will be considered in the event of a recall. The Honour Band fee is $80 & non-refundable. Do not include the honour band fee with the audition.

Honour Band Schedule and Attendance Policy - Honour Band members must attend all honour band activities to maintain their membership in the ensemble. The format and schedule of the 2021 Intermediate Honour band will be determined based on health directives at the time, and will be announced ASAP following the audition results posting.

Audition Results - The applicant is responsible to visit mbband.org on March 20, after 10:00 AM for audition results. If selected, the applicant will complete the online acceptance form and submit payment by Saturday, March 27, 2020.
