Salt not throwing well/throwing to one side.

Confirm each step below.

• Please watch video above.
• Make sure all connections plow and spreader are clean and well-greased.

• Confirm cable connections are tight and do not have any loose connections
• Confirm cables are free from corrosion
• Ensure the battery isn't dead and has adequate charge

Plow Controller is flashing a code.  

Refer to the manual for code details.

Vibrator will not turn on or is shorting out.

No material is being thrown at all.

Please confirm each step below:

• Possible Spreader jam - clean the spreader out and be sure all grease fittings have been greased up well. 
  - "J" code on SaltDogg spreaders indicates a jam. Solution: Turn off controller and clear obstructions.  Make sure flow gates are open and wing nuts are secured.

Salt/material is constantly leaking out

Auger is not feeding correctly

Plow and/or controller will not turn on. 

Please confirm each step below:

• Possible cause : Blown fuse
  
  - Most SnowDogg models have an inline fuse (follow red/white wire that plugs into remote).  There may be another fuse in the fuse tap in fuse box if applicable (switched power off ignition switch).
  
  - Most SnowEx fuses are located on the switched power wire (look for small red wire)
  
  
• Make sure switched power (toggle or aux switch) is on, then the remote will also turn on.
• SnowEx plow has to be attached for remote to turn on
• Make sure toggle switch on plow is on plow mode or remote will not work (it will flash at you) to mount and dismount snow ex (work switches on plow) remote has to be off.

Plow struggles to lift or is sluggish in operation. 

Please confirm each step below:

• Possible cause : Check hydraulic fluid level and top off if needed.

Spreader controller will not turn on.

• Check connections.
• Make sure the fuses or breakers are not blown, one will be by the battery, most snow dogg have fuses on the backside of controller but can have fuses inside of the controller (will have to take apart refer to manual)
