What is Mentorship?
The University of St. Michael's College (USMC) Mentorship program is an Office of Student Life initiative which helps first year students make the successful transition to university life and the USMC community through mentor relationships with senior students. The program is seeking two (2) student Coordinators to develop and lead the 2020/21 mentorship program year.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience with:
peer mentorship
leadership development
managing a team of 50-70 peers
community partnerships
student life initiatives
The Coordinators can play a significant part in shaping the first year experience of new students to USMC. This role will require up to 6 hours during an average week for each Coordinator, and at times more during peak activity periods.
Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognition is available for this position
