Thank you for your interest in the American Institute of Architects—Academy of Architecture for Justice Courthouse Post-Occupancy Evaluation Toolkit.
The POE Toolkit is part of abroad effort by the AIA to assist in the development and dissemination of knowledge pertaining to best practices in courthouse design.
The POE instruments are made available free of charge. In return, as a condition of use, you are asked to agree to submit the data from the POE you conduct to be included in a POE database that the AIA will manage. The results will contribute to a database of information about courthouse design that will inform substantial improvement in the field and allow researchers to examine the relationships among physical variables of courthouse design and their outcomes.
The data will be stored in a future planned searchable database accessible through AIA.org. All data will remain anonymous. In order to remain anonymous, you are asked to remove all identifying information pertaining to the facility name, location, and the name(s) of the design team from your materials prior to submission, and any other confidential data or information you do not wish to share. Instructions for submitting your data will be provided separately.
