Badminton coaching courses are organised by states and territories (Shuttle Time and BA Foundation) and Badminton Australia/Badminton World Federation (BWF Level 1 and 2). Courses are organised on a demands basis.

Shuttle Time - BWFs schools program and predominantly in place for school teachers to receive training to deliver badminton in the school environment or for those who would like to deliver badminton in schools. Shuttle Time has an online pre-requisite before attending the face to face.

BA Foundation - A fundamental course for club coaching and a minimum requirement to coach at endorsed competitions. Foundation has an online component before attending the face to face.

Level 1 - Covers the technical, tactical and physical aspects of coaching for competitive play. Includes a formal assessment.

Level 2 - Builds on knowledge from BWF L1 to a higher technical, tactical and physical standard.
