Where additional site specific information isn't provided we will default to our standard operating procedures detailed with our Service Level Agreement

  • IMPORTANT - From the 1st June 2022, as part of BS9518, for VSS systems, it will become a requirement that a site plan is submitted by the installer which details the supervised premise, the camera locations, the detection areas and the cameras fields of view. VSS systems will not go live for monitoring until this is received. Any updates to an installed system will require a new site plan submitting.

  • Key Holders

    Please provide up to 5 key holders’ information who you nominate to be on the key holder list; these will be contacted in instances mentioned in the terms sections of this document. A password and duress password should both be supplied. For the safety of those listed, the password & duress are NOT to be the same, neither should either word/code place the employee in danger, e.g help The Password must be a minimum of 8 Characters long

    NOTE: Keyholders MUST live within 20 minutes of the building

    It is the responsibility of the client to notify RMS of any key holder changes when required, passwords should be changed regularly.

  • Authorised Employees

    Employees authorised for out of hours access, open/lock, placing system on test or the passing of information in relation to the system security. For the safety of those listed, the password & duress are NOT to be the same, neither should either word/code place the employee in danger, e.g help. The Password must be a minimum of 8 Characters long

    NOTE: Persons not listed on the key holder or staff authorised list will not be allowed access to the site, put the system on test or be passed information relating to the security of the site. Attempted access by a non-listed person will result in escalation to key holders

  • EasiTest Customer

    EasiTest Customer is our secure web based portal for end users which provides the ability to put your system on test, check signals & take the system off test again, all from your smartphone, tablet or desktop, without the need to call us. EasiTest speeds up the process of testing your systems and provides a visual of the signals and your monitored system.

    For each employee that requires the use of EasiTest we require their name, email address, mobiel number

  • Authorised Access Employees - Virtual Concierge

    Employees authorised for out of hours access, only, these employees can not request information pertaining to the security of the system or place it on test

  • Incident Reports

    As part of our reporting regime, we produce automatic incident reports, fault reports and advisory notices which are emailed direct to your nominated contacts.

RMS has integrated What3Words into our services to assit keyholders, engineers, guarding companies and the emergency services. 

    Below, you can provide 10 key items within a site that would be of use to those described above, the exact location of the main gate, the location of a key box, the stop water tap, the boiler or gas switch off, and when required we will provided this information to the relevant responders to speed up and make it easier for them to locate these key items on site. In the further info box you can provide information such as located under sink, at eye level, on first, second or third floor.

    Please detail the arm, disarm times for your system and if applicable any late to set or early open times.

    For Fire & Hold-Up, please identify a time window of regular testing, we will build an exception into the system meaning you can test without needing to call us.
