  • STRAWBERRY PLANT (BARE ROOT), ONION AND GARLIC ORDER FORM

    September 20, 2025
  • ONION STARTS

Onion starts are sold in bundles of approximately 50. We sell the correct type of onions for Southern California (short day and intermediate day varieties) that will produce large onion bulbs in late Spring/early Summer.

    GARLIC SEED

Garlic seed is sold by the pound.

    BARE ROOT STRAWBERRY PLANTS

We first sold the Fronteras strawberry in December 2021 after being extremely impressed by its size and flavor when we first purchased the fruit at Manassero Farms in December 2020.

The plants did not disappoint, but then we had issues finding a source after that. We finally found a new supplier and we expect to have them mid October, which allows for a winter strawberry harvest.

Fronteras is a strawberry variety released by former UC plant breeders Doug Shaw and Kirk Larsen in 2014. It is a short day variety, meaning it responds to day length, produces the bulk of its fruit in the shorter days of spring and fall, and is adapted to the fall planting and winter production system of the California coast.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon picking up your order, plant as soon as possible for best results. If you are unable to plant immediately, store in the refrigerator until you are ready to plant.

You will be contacted once your order is ready.
