At this time we are only able to work with fosters in Brooklyn, NY and some parts of Queens, NY. Applicants more than 2 miles away from East Flatbush, Brooklyn must be able to provide their own transportation.

All cats and kittens will require an initial period of quarantine, either in a bedroom, bathroom, or office, depending on the individual cats/kittens needs. This is both for socializing purposes, allowing the cat to decompress and settle in, and so as not to spread parasites or viruses with resident cats. In most situations, a bathroom is perfect. Do you have a room in mind that could work for this? If so, please elaborate.

As the rescue, we handle costs associated with vetting, and ask the foster to provide food and litter (we can recommend brands!) However, money should never be a barrier to fostering and we can also provide supplies if needed!
