About the ANAM Set
Since 2021, the ANAM Set has commissioned 105 Australian and New Zealand composers to collaborate with ANAM musicians, producing 105 new pieces of music. With the continued support of the Sharon and Anthony Lee Foundation, ANAM is now looking forward to continuing this bold initiative for the next two years. The ANAM Set 2026 and 2027 will partner 12 Australian or New Zealand composers, per year, who will work together with ANAM musicians to produce a six-minute work for duo or solo instrument.
ANAM is now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Australian and New Zealand composers of diverse backgrounds and career trajectories, working across a range of art music styles. ANAM believes that First Nations voices are essential in building a complete and diverse ANAM Set, and as such applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications close 11:59pm AEDT, Sunday 19 October.
