• 2021 Night to Shine Volunteer Registration Southridge Church

    Southridge Church is honored to be a host church for Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on February 12, 2021!! Although this years Prom is VIRTUAL, volunteers are still needed to make this a successful event! You will be a vital part of sharing God's love with our guests.

  • PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!  Lots of important information:

    While we understand the need to have this years prom virtual for EVERYONE's safety, we are so sad that we will not be able to celebrate with our guests in person.  So.... we planned a drive-through "Shine - Thru" event.  On Sunday February 7th from 11:30a to 1:30p our guests will be driving through Southridge's driveway to collect their gifts and "see" us! 

    This is where we need YOU!!!!  Think red carpet for guests and their vehicles! :).  All you need to do is line the driveway and wave at an acceptable social distance of 6 feet!  Masks will be required; please bring your own!  A few of the Night to Shine Planning committee members will be handing gifts directly to guests (We have background checks and will be wearing gloves and masks).

    Since there will be no face to face interaction this year, no background checks are required.  In fact to make it super simple we are not requiring any forms filled out this year!  We do have a photographer coming to take pictures of this event so please note that by attending you are giving us permission to take and use your picture!

    Also this year we are allowing volunteers of any age!  So if your children want to come with you and cheer, they are welcome!  

    We will be supplying some streamers, some signs and the music but you are also more than welcome to bring your own!  

    Two hours is a long time, especially depending on the weather so if you can't stay the entire time its ok!  Come when you can and stay as long as you can!  We will have people directing traffic!

    So why register if you just have to stand out side and cheer?  Great question!  It is really so we have your email and can easily inform you of the details as the event and remind you as the event gets closer.  Not every individual needs to register.  One per family is fine!

    Please also feel free to invite as many people as you can!  We want our guests to feel special, loved and celebrated!  The more volunteers we have the better!
