  • Understanding How You Are Paid

    Dispatch

If you are requested to report to dispatch, you will arrive at dispatch before proceeding to your first cleaning assignment that day. We expect that it will not take you more than 10 minutes to report in and obtain your supplies. You will be paid for your 10 minutes of dispatch time at your Non-Cleaning Wage. If you choose to arrive earlier or stay longer at dispatch, you will be considered to be on your own time and you will not be paid for that time. If dispatch takes longer than 10 minutes for reasons beyond your control, then you should state the actual time on your Payroll Verification Report and you will be paid for your actual time at dispatch. Reporting to dispatch is not a guarantee of work. On the rare occasion that you report to dispatch and there are no assignments available for you to work, we will pay you a minimum daily pay of 30 minutes at your Non-Cleaning Wage.

    Travel Time

You will be paid for your travel time at your Non-Cleaning Wage from dispatch to your first job (if you are requested to report to dispatch that day) and then for travel time between cleaning locations and back to dispatch but only if you are required to return. We have assigned an estimated travel time for each job in each zone but if it takes you longer than that, you should state that on your Work Order for that job or on your Payroll Verification Report. If it takes less time you still still be paid travel time for that zone.

    Cleaning Time

You will be paid for the time you spend cleaning at your assignment at your agreed upon Cleaning Wage. Each job has a pre-determined amount of time that the job should take to be completed by you and any co-workers assigned to that job. This pre-determined time will be listed as "Man Hours" on your cleaning assignment work order. You should not work more than the assigned amount of time on a job without your manager's prior approval. If the job takes additional time and that time has been approved by your manager, you will also be paid for that additional time and you should note it on the Work Order or your Payroll Verification Report.

    Wait Time

Your free time between cleaning jobs (not including travel time) is considered your own to use for your own purposes and you will not be paid for that time. On the rare occasion you are required to wait to start a job due to matters beyond your control, you should inform your manager immediately and you will be paid at your Non-Cleaning Wage for that wait time.

  • Travel Time Reimbursement

You will be reimbursed monies toward your travel costs, such as fuel or public transportation fares, between (1) dispatch to an assignment; (2) between assignments; and (3) from your last job to dispatch (if you return) with an agreed upon Travel Expense Reimbursement flat fee for each leg of travel.

    Paychecks

Our pay periods are on a bi-monthly basis You will be paid on the 10th and 25th of each month. For example, Day 1-15 - of the month will be paid on the 25th of that month. Day 16 to the end of the month will be paid on the 10th of the following month. If a pay date should fall on a non work day, payments will be made on the next business day following the pay date.

NY ONLY: Our pay period is on a weekly basis. If you work M-F you will be paid the following Friday for the previous week.

I have read, understand and agree to the above information.

  • Introductory Period

  • Your first week at MaidPro is considered a Training Period. You will be asked to go on working interviews with trained staff supervisors. This first week will give us insight on

kind of cleaner you are and the performance we can expect from you if hired. Your next sixty (60) days of employment at Maidpro is considered an Introductory Period, and during this period you will not accrue benefits. This Introductory Period will be a time for getting to know your fellow employees, your manager and the tasks involved in your job position, as well as becoming familiar with MaidPro's products and services. Your Manager will work closely with you to help you understand the needs and the processes of your job.

This Introductory Period is a trial time for both you, as an employee, and MaidPro, as an employer. During this Introductory Period, MaidPro will evaluate your suitability for employment, and you can evaluate MaidPro as well. At any time during these sixty (60) days, you may resign without any detriment to your record. If, during this period, your work habits, attitude, attendance or performance does not measure up to our standards, we may release you. If you take approved time off in excess of five (5) workdays during the Introductory Period, the Introductory period may be extended by that length of time.

At the end of your Introductory Period, your manager will discuss your job performance with you. During the course of the discussion, you are encouraged to give your comments

Please understand that completion of the Introductory Period does not guarantee continued employment for any specified period of time, nor does it require that an employee be discharged only for "cause".
